^ thanks ! update: Working on the car again last night and got the Radiator, fan shroud, fan is all in and came out nice.He had to make some custom brackets and such. Also installed and wired the alternator and put together the upper intake, throttle body, egr, iac, distributor etc. If the injectors come by Saturday a good chance when can get it all back together have the oil changed/radiator fluid back in and try to firing this motor back up !
Here's a couple more pics ..........
Found that a 1.5" carb stud works great for mounting the throttle body.
There are 2 options:
1 regular steel, 1 black oxide ARP ? I went with the black oxide ARP, here's a closer pic
Lou, primed the engine, everything looks good, also got a measurement for a new belt.
more pics to come !

I went back up to Lou's shop Sunday night changed the oil installed antifreeze and put in the new O2 sensors.Lou worked on the top of the engine installing the new injectors upper intake and airbox connected all plugs and fittings it was the moment of truth to turn the key! The car started with in seconds no oil leaks or water leaks to be found the car idled on its own... NOW the bad the car seems to have a chatter on the passenger side Lou said wasn't happy with the way the 1.7 rockers sounded? So at this point we are going to remove the upper intake and valve covers and see if we can find the problem? Perhaps it's has simple maybe the rocker hitting the valve cover I personally doubt that being they are cobra valve covers and made to clear all that. If that isn't the issue maybe considering reshimming the rockers on both sides to a different setting to perhaps quiet them down a little or to get to the bottom of this in one quick shot change the 1.7 rockers back to the stock rockers to figure out if it's a bad rocker or head issue ? So that where we are at ........
Here some more pics !

Thanks ..... I'm a bit uncertain about the tapping.Lou shimmed all the rockers to preload at 1/4 turn (which is where I like to run a hyd roller). I'm wondering if a rocker is hitting the baffle in the VC, or if it just wants more preload....
I'm going to swap the stock rockers back on, and give them 3/4 turn of preload (thinner shim) and see what that yields. If that doesn't solve it...then it's a head/guide issue....
Lets hope that isn't the case.
If that DOES in fact solve it, then I'll put the 1.7 rollers back on with the same preload and see what that does....
Problem solving 101 in effect...

Turned out to be an adjustment issue. Quiet like stock, tended to a few slight water leaks, clean test drive, just drove it 20 miles home with out incident! Runs 100% better throttle response you can hear that air sucking in that fender wall now that we took off the air silencer ...Here a little video not the best quality but you get the idea !
