Default Mirrors

I'm going to paint my mirror housings and need to get the inside. How is the mirror held into the housing? one of them is like half loose, are they just glued? Do I just pull to remove them? If so what should I use to install them? 3m windo-weld?

Its held in by 3 screws if I remember. Move the mirror around and you'll notice screws way down in there. Problem is they are not easy to get to at all. I would just get some painters tape and tape the mirror off.

Well, one mirror is loose at the top and needs to be fixed so I figured I'd pull it out and then paint. Also the glass on one was kind of scratched so I was going to try to buff it (think I've seen glass buffing kits online) I'll see if I can see any screws so I can get it off and see why it's so loose.
