Stroke it or force it?

I have been saying that I want to keep my 94 naturally aspirated ever since I started slowly building her up in 1996, but now I am at a fork in the road. I have done everything I can to the top end without adding a turbo or supercharger, so here is where I ask the masses for help. Should I stroke it or go with forced induction? If I stroke it, what are the pros and cons of the 331 and 347? If I go with forced induction which is better, turbo or supercharged? And how much boost? Any good info you can give would be great, thanks!

Stroke it to a 347 and never look back. Jim at Ford Strokers and Ed at Flow Tech are your best friends..

boost it.. if I could go back in time and turbo it before doing a 347 I would

I'll vote for the stroker one condtion.
Don't try and use 302 parts on it when you do it.
I also think that a properly built stroker will get you as much or power per $ spent as a 'forced' engine............
When you start talking blowers the price is high and going up.

no, not exactly. So long as your engine is healthy now you can spend 2500 on a entry level blower setup and have just as much power, if not more, than a built 347 and be more streetable. Now if you equaled about the funds then the blower setup will be putting out close to enough power to split the block....

force feed it....cost of a s/c set up and the power output outweighs the stroker option.

How many miles on the rest of the engine?

Force it. Perfect example, gt40 heads a b303 cam and a pieced together non intercooled S trim was able to push me to a 10.47 at 130 @ 3200 lbs. and that motor is still together after 5 years and hundreds of runs. Stock block and bottom end too.

Can beat the bang for the buck of a power adder.

A stroker will be there when a blower or turbo wears out or breaks! if you have the funds do both!

as far as turbo or super its preferance and what you want it to do?

dollar to dollar you can be about equal if you build is right and have along the same power n/a or FI!
