Starting Out
I am about to return from Afghanistan and I am about to purchase a 92 mustang gt. I also found a 351c engine block for it. The car has a t5 tranny and a moser rear end. what are some pointers you could give me when starting out building a muscle car. I need to find a good hobby.

I see. If it is what you got, it is what you got.
I am not really sure what you are going to get into with the Cleveland. I have never done a swap like that, nor seen one.
All I really know about a cleveland is that they are heavy. The first time I took the intake off one, I thought I still had a bolt in it. Then I realized it just weighed a ton.
They do have some good flowing heads. Someone that knows how to fix them right can make a motor run. The problem is having a motor big enough that can turn high enough to use all of that flow. I got a friend with a clevor engine in a Maverick and it will move on.

I think if you spend a little time looking around the islands you'll find plenty of Windsors.
Clevelands are big and heavy and quite expensive to build however they can be installed in FOX Mustangs.
Holcomb in North Carolina has parts and headers and stuff but like I stated, be ready to pay big $$$...

What are your plans? Nothing but straight line? A heavier, more powerful engine will just make the foxbody mustang even worse in the twisties. I suggest looking at other mods like suspension and braking.

Well it has a moser rear end right now and I definitely will look into getting a Windsor. The parts are way easier to find I've noticed but I might just keep the 302 it has in it now. Get it bored and stroked out. How much would that cost?
