Hello, long time lurker and first time poster. I would like to say this place is great. I have an 1988 lx fox and need to replace my clutch. Est HP is 350-400. Its not a daily driver but is driven often and will run it on the strip. Which clutch IYO should i run? thanks.
PS. this car is well used and abused.

Ive got a Spec stage 3+ and love it. My motor has very little work done to it but I smoked a stage 1 clutch. Guys I work with talked me into the 3+ and I love it and highly recommend it.

I would probably go with a stage two spec.

ok the spec and ram clutchs are great choices imo. I have another question, my car has a Tremic world class t5 gear box. what spline does it have 10.5 or 26. Sorry for the noob questions, i bought my car with the upgrades so i did not do them myself but am interested in learning. Thanks.

That's what I got the spec stage 3+ with their 6 bolt flywheel and it's doing the job flawlessly, you can pick the clutch and flywheel on AM for 700.

So how about a new Ram 10 spline clutch and get my fly wheel skimmed by a machinist? trying to keep this under a budget. Would this work well? thanks.

Is there any specific type of RAM clutch i should be looking for?

i had a center force stage 2 on my last car and loved it, it was either in or out not really an in between.
