Default My name is Jason, and this is my car...

Stopping by to introduce myself and ask a couple questions.

This car is a black slate essentially, it has Flowmaster exhaust, and no cats, other than that she is stock.
I just ordered a BBK Cold Air Intake and hopefully I can put it on by next weekend.
Whats next as far as mods, throttle body, bigger MAF, pulleys, heads, headers, intake manifold....basically where do I go next.

The other question I have is, the car "squeaks" when I turn the steering wheel, the guy I bought it from though it was the control arm bushing but, if its sitting still and happens with just the wheel turning Im thing it is something else, what do you guys think?

Thanks and this is the only pic I have so far more to come....

Welcome Fergie, congratulations on your purchase, nice GT. If this car is as stock as you say, I personally would leave the motor alone and just thru a set of gears in the rear. Biggest bang for the buck you can do right now, you will be all smiles after gear change.
As for the squeak, your gonna have get under there and check everything out. Was this car maintained? Be as descriptive as possible when discribing your problem, someone with more knowledge will chime in soon.

I've noticed tonight driving home that it also squeaks a bit when I go over bumps, but it is more pronounced when turning the steering wheel. Even at a sit still, any help is greatly appreciated.

use an auto stephascope to locate noise, check tie rods, ball joints and strut mounts.
