my buddy has 4.10's and he burns through tires all the time. he said the only thing his 1st gear is good for is launching but as a daily driver they are really aggressive.

Gears are alot more indepth than just stock this and stock that auto or stick! If and only IF you are going on opinions i`d say 3.55, but hey do the 4.10 or the 3.73s. on a stock car thats like sausage or bacon only difference is taste! First gear sux with either!

Thanks 9redfox3, can't wait.

That's a good point about 1st gear becoming worthless with higher gears. I can imagine that wouldn't be too fun in stop-and-go traffic.

I would do the 4.10's also.
Then I would spend some time/money getting the suspension to work.....

And of course some sticky tires to plant all that torque.

thanks for all the replies people, but it has recently become a moot point. My little sister wants to buy the car off me so i replaced it with a '01 cobra. on a side note the cobra has a 4.10 in it already and I don't really mind the added rpm.
