Hey guys. Ive broken another oil pump shaft. Can somebody please help!! Ive broken 4 of these. Ive used stock pumps, stock shafts, high volume pumps, high performance shafts. I eben changed the distributor. I dnt kno what else to do!!! Thanks guys

See the advice given in the first thread. I think its time to tow that car to a ford dealer and let them install the pump. make sure they back their work before you allow them to work on your car.

One more question. Is everbody using stock pumps and stock shafts?

i am using a stock pump and stock shaft...did you prime the pump before actually turning on your car? if you don't prime you could risk that your pump might seize due to high rpm at start up without anything to lubricate it. prime for at least 10 minutes to ensure full lubrication.
