hey guys im looking for a father son project and being only 17 i cant afford much but i found this okay looking 89 hatch originally 4cyl converted to 5.0 5 speed now a roller, and my question is how much would you pay for it?

What's leftover in it? Tranny? What kind of rear? Any rust anywhere? Straight frame/body?

i dont wanna go over $500 for a shell and the guy is firm on $900 which i wont do thats way too much in my opinion.

I wouldnt give him much over scrap price for it. There isnt anything left to work with.
Other than the rear end , and as for the msd crap Id tell him he could keep it.
900 is way to much for it Nothing looks done to it other than they probly got a junk 302 out of the scrap yard ran the crap out of it till it blew then pulled it.
The interiour looks trashed most likely need to gut it.
And from the pics it looks like it is gonna need some body work cause it looks to have a crickle in the hood and a few other little wrinkles

500 is going to be hard to get for a straight body notch roller.. I would jump on it in an instant if it were 500, turn around and sell it for a profit pretty quick.. I was thinking 800 is reasonable..

i guess the search goes on he said he wont go a penny less so im not gonna pay double then what its worth for a roller.

This isn't a notch. But I still wouldn't pay that much for a notch body.

Lol, damn I don't know how I didn't notice it was a hatch O.o. I must have been really tired.. In that case, I'd pay about 400 for a hatch..
