Don't know if it's different between the 7.5 and 8.8, but with my 3:55's I'm pretty sure my rpms around 21-2200. Could be wrong, its been a while since I was on the highway.

Rear end size has nothing to do with it. It's the rear gear ratio, tire size, and tranny od gear. With 3.73 in fifth I get about 2300 rpm at 70. So 60 is around 1980. That is with my speedo matching the gps exactly at 124(only time I checked).
