You obviously like the DSM more, but I've spent a ton of time working on DSM's and while they're pretty damn fun when they run well, they are unreliable as hell. I'd say get the mustang and do the H/C/I

yes exactly how i feel. i do like the dsm more but its no fun always fixxing things. think the 5.0 will be the winner. thanks for the suggestions.

The talon/Eclipse is not an option for any car of mine talk about needing to get some lube to get into it lol

I have the Trick Flow Top End Kit and I have been quite happy with it. If you are the the window of rpm it pulls through all the gears nice and strong.

Lol, I've always loved that picture..

And if you ask me, I would never own a DSM.. Go with what makes you happy though, if you have the money to work on both and repair things then have fun.. I would have much more fun with a 5.0.. And personally, I'd take another fox over a SN95 5.0..

the 7 bolt are the crankwalk motors not the 6 bolt which is what im looking for in the 1g.

I bought a laser turbo new back in 89. It was a fun little car and quick for it's time but if I was looking to build a strip car. It's a no brainer. Just look at how many 8 second foxs you see apposed to DSM cars.
