Default mock up pics

Got everything mocked up. bottom end, water pump, harm balancer are permanently installed, waiting on my head gaskets to put the heads and intake manifold on permanently. In the backround is my p.o.s. budget car.

I still lack a dizzy, new clutch, and I gotta do all the wiring. New fuse block should be here next week.

It's a mild build, and my first one. I bought the short block from a buddy of my dad's who had building fords since before I was born. My dad helped me piece together the heads, Its got a Crower hydraulic flat cam and Rhodes lifters, the intake is a Edelbrock RPM Air Gap, probably a little much for the heads right now but I plan on doing more to the top end when my budget allows, i.e. retrofit rollers, bigger cam, AFR heads. Carb is a holley 700. Again a little much, but it'll be good for when I do the top end.

Everything else has been a learning experience and a building experience, seeing what parts will swap over from a 302, and I've had a blast. I bought the car 3 years ago and was just planning on doing a 351 EFI swap, but then I quit drinking and got bored as **** over the winter and gutted everything. Bare bones, I love it.
