awesome reply! So if i get the trick flow kit, can i port the heads before the install and gain more power? I am considering the Stage 2 cam as well. I have the stock block so want to push that to the limits first. If i buy these components now, will they switch over if I get an aftermarket block?

I've never dyno'd the car. It's probably in the 300-325WHP range on motor and 460 on the spray. I cant wait to find out what it'll do at the track once it's done. (built tranny with stall, suspension, built rear with 3.73 & slicks) I have my fingers crossed for a high 10 second car on the 200 shot. It sounds like a million bucks. You can hear the lope but it's not bad.

First thing I would do is to make up your mind on what you are gone to run a Turbo or a S/C while both are boosted they can be very different setups.
With 12 to14 psi. you will be at the stock block limits all ready. Some blocks will take more some less but a good tune will be the life of it.
If I was gone to run boost I would be looking a a custom cam for a turbo while a S/C is not as particular as a turbo so why buy the cam twice if you are gone to run a Turbo.
Turbos also don't need super flowing heads to make great HP. I have seen guys claiming 8s with OTB TW heads but porting does help.
What kind of HP or times are you looking to run is what you also need to ask yourself.
Yes, some of your parts will bolt to the aftermarket blocks heads are good intake also. I know stock oil pans will not fit most A/M blocks due to the large main bearing caps. Some block will not work with a stock type roller lifter without mods. Our R block had to have the cam bearings changed for a stock type roller cam. so while there are small thing most of your stuff will work.

If you're going from scratch I'd say custom grind, it would be the perfect cam for YOUR setup.

I'd use the Trick flow heads but I'd get the 185cc intakes.

I have made some decisions. I am going to go with a turbo in the future. I am going with the TrickFlow TW Track Heat kit, 48# injectors, 340 fuel pump, Holly HP EFI, Trickflow 75mm tb. The cam is a stage one cam. I have heard that this cam and set up is good with a turbo set up so i will start here. I will have the car dyno'd before and after. I will post the results here for all. I will also video and post a link to the dyno video.
