Explorer Gt-40 intake or Other? Mustang notchback 1991
Tittle Says it all. Im wondering if ill get the power i want .... with a gt-40 intake upper and lower off an explorer. I plan to get it ported.. and I was wondering what a good cam would be if i went this route.

don't expect much from oem parts ford produced in stock condition

i was planning on getting the intake ported by Tmoss... As for power i just want to feel the difference and if someone on the streets wants to race lets do it... What cam would sound GREAT and work well with the car... i was told STEEDA?

The biggest difference you are gonna feel is when you get a set of gears installed.
Do not change the cam unless you change the heads.
Steeda has a good cam but they are more oriented at the 94/95 5.0's because of their computers tune.
Finish your exhaust and it will sound great. The exhaust note will change a little when you change the intake.
Get some roller rockers.
