Installing a complete MSD system on an 84 Stang
Hi all,
My project is almost completed, converting my 1984 LX V6 to V8 Carb. I am looking to install a complete, new MSD ignition system. The vehicle originally had the V6 with CFI, and the distributor had a module on it, with a plug of like 6 wires just below the cap, I think it was. My question, if I am using a new ignition box, coil and distributor, do I need to worry about keeping this plug or any from the old V6 ignition setup?
Hopefully, someone who has completed this type of change can put my worries to rest on what to do. Please help, my weakest point is ignition setup.
