Oh it prolly goes a little like this jack up car, put on jackstands mark tire, mark driveshaft turn wheel 1 revolution watch and count mark on driveshaft, do some precise guessing and hope for the best????

Does that sound right there teach? yeah sounds like a dud! please correct me if i`m wrong? I`m always willing to learn new tricks lol....

whats so bad about counting the rotation of the drive shaft? 1 rev of tire count the drive shaft revs . it gets you a close Idea of the gear ratio 3.73 would be 3 complete turns and just shy of another 3/4 of a turn. 4.10 = 4 complete and just shy of an 8th of a turn. Tire diameter only comes into play when determining speed at a given rpm.

AND THERE IT IS LADIES AND GENTS (A CLOSE IDEA) NOT EXACT!!!! like removing the cover and counting the teeth, whats it cost 10$ in stank oil and smell hands for a week. and as i said before if you have a worn gearset you can get a false close idea too!

tire dia determines a great deal more, yes i was wrong when i said tire size effecting the reverse side of the equation sorry!

The ways to find out have already been said......

Just wanted to throw this out there

3.73s, 25.6ish" tall tire 275/40/17 or 245/45/17s, 2k rpm is 60mph.....2500 is just over 75mph.....I have test this multiple times by radars in a multiple states.....basically every 500rpm in 5th gear (stock .68 5th), is 15mph

Hey everyone thank you for responding and giving me advice and opinions. I just did a few 1st gear pulls tonight meaning i rolled a bit in 1st cuz i cant hook. I have 275-40-17 in the rear. I know this might sound stupid and you will all thrash me and call me dumb but oh well, this guy on youtube that has almost identical mods as my car almost EXACTLY identical. Car sounds the same, and so he has a few videos of 1/4 mile passes and ripping the car in the street and highway pulls. He also has 4:10's which he installed because the car was bought stock as i would assume. So the sound and gears of my pulls sounded almost identical. Ill put up a video soon to see what you guys think!
