Planning H/C/I need advice
 

Looking forward, would like to do Heads Cam Intake over the next few months I plan to start picking up parts. The car is street driven every-so-often just a weekend car. Just looking for some more power out of it. Its an 88 SD Car so I have to do a Mass Air swap looking at the fiveology Stage II Kit for 16 -24lb injectors. I know theres used ones out there, not sure how reliable they are.

Is a cobra intake upper/lower a good start or should I be looking at twisted wedge or elderbrock? If I go with Cobra should I just look for Gt 40 head & if so which cam? e303? What injectors would be best with this combo? Do I need new fuel rails if so which? Sorry just don't want to end up with stuff that really doesn't work well together.

I went with the TW 170cc heads and trick flow upper and lower intake, comp cam and comp roller rockers with 24lb injectors to start. before i went and got it tuned the tuner told me to put in some 30lb injectors. with that i ran 295hp and like 300lbs. right now im at everything thats in my sig. i probably would have been fine with the 24lb injectors he just wanted to be sure we were going to run out of fuel. Im extremely happy where im at and i was happy with the 295hp but i wanted to hit that 400 mark.

i also still have those 24lb injectors for sale if your looking.

I'll PM you about the 24lbs. I assume I'm gonna need a 255lph pump to push the 24lbs as well?

yea, i would do it just to be safe. i have a 255 in tank and a 255 external. that single 255 in tank was good enough when i had my 30's in it.
