Front Blinkers & Hazards DONT work, Back Blinkers and hazards WORK

I have a 1995 Convertible Mustang 5.0 manual. Neither of my front blinkers are working for turn signal or hazard but both work in the rear of the car. My fog lights work, brake lights work, tail lights work. I have HID headlights and one of them is out right now but the other works. Can anyone advise me on how to fix this? Thanks!:icon_beerchug:

check your wires running to the multi function switch

Multi Function Switch

Thank you for the suggestion! That is the actual blinker handle correct and you want me to see if the connection is tight/good? Should I be using a volt meter on it or even at the blinker bulb connections? Is this pretty much the only thing it could be because i could order a new lever if none of this works. I hear there are flasher relays as well but im not sure if one of those were out that it would only cause my fronts blinkers to stop. Thanks

you'll have to get a wiring diagram and test power into switch as well as that coming out of the switch to the lights, or just slap a new part on and cross your fingers :)

Crazy as it may sound, look at your ignition switch too,I dont know for sure, but in my 88' I had a turn signal problem and my ignition switch in my column was super loose.

I’m having the exact same issue. You happened to ever figure it out?

If I were you,I would start a new thread because posting for help in this one might lead to incorrect info.First problem is this thread is over 6.5 years old & the OP of this thread was asking about info on a 95 model. So since your car is an earlier (88) model, the wiring, wiring diagrams & part locations are likely different than the original car being asked about.I'll list a 87-90 turn signal trouble shooting link below which will hopefully get you started, but I highly recommend starting your own thread to have a higher chance of getting more accurate info. For anyone else who happens to reply to you on this thread, they'll likely be giving you answers for a 94-95 Mustang since thats what the OP was asking about and since you didn't list your vehicle info somewhere in your post, nobody is gonna know you're asking for info about a 88 model vs a 95 model unless they either read this post or do like I did and go to your profile & view your threads to see which car youve been starting threads for or listing posts about.Thats the only way I knew,so keep this in mind for the future. Here is that link I mentioned.Start reading at post #9. Hope it helps.
