Return to the track after 2 years

I knock the timing from 36 to 30 to be safe, then I usually run a mix of 93 and 110 octane and my kit is a wet system so it adds more fuel and I bump fuel pressure from 6.5 to 7 psi, so you could say I tune a little, more so I'd say error on the safe side

you're not kidding, it struggles out of the hole and you really need to rev it high or when it hooks it'll drag it below the effective rpm power band..........I don't know what the DA was that day but day started out in the low 50's at 8 a.m and no humidity yet here and by 11 a.m when I ran the lowest time of the day it was in the low 60's, track elevation is roughly 500 ft.

Vegas this past weekend was near 100F and had maybe 4000'A.D.

Do they run year around there?? Cause when I visited AZ a few years back I remember going to watch some drag racing at a track near Tuscon in DEC. Around here, racing is shut down from late Nov. to March.

Timing for nitrous: -1deg for every 33.3hp worth of NO2
Fuel: Like mjr46 I run a blend of 93 & race fuel. On a 100shot I like to run a 50/50 mixture of 93 & 100unleaded.
I've made hundreds of passes using the above "rules of thumb" w/o any signs of spalling, audible knock, or data logged knock sensor activity. (OBD2 fords)
