Default Gt40 Intake Power Gains?

Any idea what gains you'd see with a gt40 intake on an otherwise mostly stock 5.0? I've seen some people claim 20+rwhp.. Others say barely any gains at all. Has anyone done before/after dyno charts with a gt40 intake?

This guy seemed to have made some significant gains with just a ported gt40 and TB

But that seems a little ridiculous. Are there any others like this?

I don't have any dyno numbers. But I can tell you that when I did my gt40 intake swap and long tube headers I defiantly felt the difference . The care makes rpm a lot faster than it did with the stock intake and headers. It pulls harder and farther through out the rpm range. I may have gained an extra 300 usable rpms. And it will slip side ways if im not careful going into second where before I could only chirp the tires hitting second. Before I did the 3.73 gears I could barely spin the tires in first with out dumping the clutch a bit. Now with the gears intake and exhaust work from a 20 mph roll it will smoke the tires at wot in first and fish tail going through second. It is definatly worth the time and money to do it.

I think the gt40 intake is going on next. Yeah i miss being able to roast my tires. My car always spun all the way through 2nd when i had bald tires. Now that i got these sticky summer tires it's hard to break it loose even in 1st. Just not as fun to drive anymore. If i had the money i'd stop messin' around and just drop a good top end on it but since i don't... Baby steps...

I know what you mean about baby steps Id love to do the whole top end , my plans over the winter were to do just that but as I got to doing the math and home work I soon discovered it was going to cost a lot more than I had to spend.
I just didn't want to skimp on the heads and cam by using junk parts.
Now im thinking that before I add any more power I want to put some cash into the rear suspension and tires to give me some traction.
