Default My new build direction: Any Suggstions

Plans for my 95 Mustang GT 5 Speed

Already has -
Aftermarket BBK Headers and off road H pipe
Upgraded Ignition - Distribtor/Control Module/Coil/Wires
Cold Air Intake

My Next 3 steps

Step 1 - Aftermarket rear control arms
Detroit tru-trac Diff
Most likely 3.73 gears(havent decided yet)
New clutch (thinking stage 2 not sure yet)

Step 2 - Gt40 upper & lower intake
70/75mm Throttle Body
70/75mm Mass air
Not sure if i need to upgrade to 24# injectors

Step 3 - Gt40 heads
havent decided what cam yet

Would like to hear suggestions on if this is a good way to go, or if theres something that could make it a little better.
Could anyone also guesstimate HP?

70mm throttle body, 70mm maf, yes upgrade to 24lb injectors. I would guess 250-260 horsepower. Why are you upgrading the diff? Are you racing?

Im just glad there's someone else paying attention to their suspension instead of just building a motor and wondering why their 20 year old car wont run 12's

@ Duncan Im not racing but with the miles and stock rear end i want an upgrade with the power i wanna put through it. Plus Just had a buddy that just blew out the diff in his. So Since I want to change the gears I planed on just Beefing up the rear end.

I gotcha. Check the general discussion for the 5.0's, I had a thread about an 8.8 build

Decent plan. I'd recommend UPR suspension (including torque box reinforcements while your control arms are out) and I'd also install the intake manifold at the same time as the cylinder heads. Just my two cents.

@UPR I was going to look into some more suspension upgrades as I go along.. I was only planning on changing the intake first then the heads after awhile to give me a lil bit more first without breaking my wallet.. but who knows might wait and do it all at once just depends on money...

I understand what you mean there. I only recommended doing them at the same time because you don't get the true gains from the intake until you match it with a good heads/cam/TB/MAF combo. Also, you'll be doing the same job (intake manifold installation) twice if you do the intake, and then the heads.

But I fully understand your point about saving in between.
