Identify this 5.0L V8 - Help

Interesting....old tin covers with an 87-93 EFI manifold. Wonder why the trim bit on the mani is upside down?
Anyway, with a custom app like this, there could be anything in there from a 70s smogger coverted to EFI to a 1994-5 roller mill. Older motors are tipped by the block off plate on the front cover DS where the mechanical fuel pump once was.
Serpentine belts are not a giveaway as one could easily change the front dress.
It's impossible to be certain without putting hands on it.

The intake is turned backwards so the plaque is reversed. It looks to be a 86-88 Speed density motor.
The metal valve covers suggest a Crown Vic/Marquis or T-bird-Cougar or F150.
But all of these parts are interchangeable so it is hard to say. 86-93 intake because the 94-95 is shorter.

I am still going with a late 80s early 90s Lincoln town car. They are set in the car just like that with the ac compressor on the passenger side of the engine.
The valve covers are likely after market replacements , as well as the air cleaner. there is aloso an egr block off plate on the egr spacer.
