Default Low coolant light peculiarity

I've never seen this nor have I ever heard of this. Simply dumbfounding. Headlights on with ignition switch off means illuminated low coolant, but as soon as the ignition is turned on, the light goes off. However, when the light switch is off and ignition off no low coolant until I turn the ignition on then there's the light. Any idea what's going on? I'm thoroughly stumped

What the @#$% are talking about ???

I'm just teasing you, but I read that post a couple times trying to figure out what your problem is. I'm assuming you've checked your coolant level and it's good. And for some reason, with the car parked and off, you turn your lights on and the low coolant light comes on ?

And when you start the car, the low coolant light comes on for a couple seconds, then turns off ? Or it stays on constant when the car is running ?

Lemme try and clear that up as I was kinda sleepy typing that haha.
When the car is off and the lights are off, there is no indicator.
Key off lights on, low coolant light is illuminated.
Key on lights on, no illumination
Key on lights off, illumination
This isn't a temporary thing, it's all the time, but now it's completely gone. My airbag was throwing a code 33(yes I know that's weird) so I reset it and I haven't seen either light since. Should I pursue the problem or chalk it up as "one of those things"

It is wired like a foxbody sensor they have a switched 12v wire going to them that is with the headlight harness. Might a short in that harness causing that.

It's possible, guy that had it before me put the wrong amp fuse in the headlight slot and when my switch went bad smoked it some. I'll give it a look around in there this weekend

If it smoked it I say its a good possibility youve got one wires touching.

Looked through the harness and saw where it'd been smoked but my brother took care of it by taping up the bad wires, nothing's touching. I'll have to take a look behind the instrument panel, see if the wires go farther back
