Yeah I think I have decided to replace the rings and all the bearings. Also, I think I am going to use a set of gt-40s or gt-40Ps. That I will get worked.

Yea the gt40 heads are quite an improvement over stock heads. And if you can find the upper/lower gt40 intake get that as well. The heads and intake can net you close to an extra 35-40 hp over a stock setup. I know a lot of pple claim the gt40 stuff can get you an xtra 60 hp but that's all hype.

Yeah I can get the GT40 heads at a junkyard around here for $75. Well I think I am pretty certain I am going to convert to a carburetor and sell the aftermarket EFI stuff to finance the rest of the build.

why not take it to a machine shop get the block boiled cylinder walls cleaned up and check line bore on crank and check the crank.
