goals and budget and what do you expect out of the car? is it a Daily driver? do you need to pass emissions do you have any parts yet? Do you have another car to drive? What are you mechanical ability's ?

Well I do have another car I do all the work on it myself no I don't have to pass emissions. It's a older 302 with elderbrock intake manifold and a elderbrock carb ngk spark plugs stock distributor short headers x pipe 40 series flowmaster.

If you have to save up the money first, I'd just grab a complete 8.8 rearend off Craigslist with a set of steaper gears already installed. Swap that in and enjoy till you figure out what you want. I've found complete rearends for my Fox with gears from anywhere between $150 - $300. Of course, buyer beware when grabbing used parts, you have to know what your looking for.
That will hold you over till a master plan is made, and a large bank account won't hurt either lol.
Also, dig around on this forum for older threads on modding your 94'. There's a ton of info on every mod available. What works and what doesn't help much. Use the "Search" and you'll be reading for days. Good luck
