will convertible seat covers (like the ones that come in a set sold on LMR) fit over hatch rear seats? i know the frames are different and not interchangeable from hatch to convertible but just wondering if the dimensions of the seats are the same... reason i ask is because im considering a hatch to buy with a ratty interior and was thinking how cool it would be to convert it to a white leather interior... kind of like the 7ups. but there are no white seat covers sold for hatches or coupes....

I don't think so. Coupes and verts have a one piece back, hatches have the split 2 piece backs

Why can't you make that a one piece seat. Take some measurements of your hatch seat back and bottom then call LMR and ask for our friendly rep to check measurements of upholstery. If they are same or similar enough to make work then manufacture something to make two piece back stable and then get the foam for solid back and reupholster.
