Default V8 5.0 HO - From Argentina

Hello how are you? My name is Facundo, I'm from Argentina. First of all sorry for my English, I am writing through a translator.
Buy last year 5.0 HO V8. This one injection to carburetor change because purchase only the block with the cylinder heads.
My question is which means "cam rollers" ??? . the camshaft is to roll ??

The hydraulic lifters are or roller in this model?

Thank you very much to all

If I'm understanding you correctly, you have a roller lifter block. If it's a true H.O. motor.

Thank you very much , in Argentina there is not much information on this type of engines because few are imported.
And the translator does not work well with technical English

If I am understanding you correctly, you are asking if the 5.0 is a roller set up?

In other words, there are rollers on bearings at the ends of the lifters where they meet the camshaft. The lifters are also hydraulic, they collapse under certain pressure.

A regular hydraulic cam does not have the rollers on the ends.

Yes, the 5.0 is a roller engine. It even has rollers on the ends of the rocker arms, but is not considered full roller because the rocker fulcrum does not have roller bearings.

Does this help, facusessa?
