Default 1990 Mustang GT w/ Salvage Title

I've been away from the 5.0 crowd for awhile. I'm back, and have a 90 GT to work with.

Details:

108k original miles
stock engine
2 owners
FL car no rust
Black interior
Engine/T-5 are original
"Rebuilt" or "Salvage" title, due to wrinkled aprons...

I was planning on getting this one running, then swapping everything over to a clear title fox. I have no issue driving it like it is with bad paint as a fun weekend car ( I don't drive my vehicles much).

My biggest question is- since the aprons are the only damage this car has seen- is this one worth fixing? I have access to a restoration shop for taking care of the aprons. I also have time and money to work with over the next few years.

I have combed over the forum regarding "rebuilt" or "salvage" threads. There's not much info in reference to these "older" 5.0s.

I have restored a 93 GT and painted one. I know how much $$$ it takes. I just don't know if it's worth it restoring this one.

What would you do? Any valuable feedback is appreciated. Glad to be back!

Salvage title are the key words here. IMO, it will have no value even if restored nicely. This is the kind of car you stay away from or buy to make into a race car for the track or strip.

Exactly what proeagles said. It would make a cool road race car. Put a good cage in it and you'll be amazed how well it will handle even with only a little suspension work.
