Electrical Burning Smell

Electrical Burning Smell
Hello all. Hoping someone can help me with this one. 2001 SVT Cobra Convertible. Only 32k miles. All gauges say good, computer hooked up says good but after it has run for 10 minutes or so, an intermittent burning smell is present. Not noticable when driving, but potent when stopping at lights and when engine gets turned off. Smell is not more present under the hood and does not seem to come from air vents (ie - smell is not more potent with roof up). I keep being told "Cobras burn oil and that is what you are smelling" but it sure smells electrical to me and there is never any oil underneath. Thoughts? Experiences?

Possible Cause
Thanks Dude. I think it may have been something on the clutch plate. Took it to a guy to have him lift it up and take a look and could not get the smell to duplicate and it hasn't since. He said if the car had sat for a while (it had before I bought it), that the clutch plate may have gotten something on it (he said some technical stuff here). Just glad the smell is gone!
