Distributer pins one off

Good show!
The only thing which might mislead him is your CLIP is of an engine of pre-94 vintage, having the distributor-mounted TFI module. In '94 it was moved to a cooler, remote location. That's why Fox distributors won't work in '94-'95 SN95s.

Yeah I'll just repost a picture of the 94-95 5.0 distributor again to avoid confusion. However, the 86-93 and 94-95 5.0 distributors use the same identical cap, which means the clips are in the same identical location on the cap adapter/cap too.If you look, the screws that hold the adapter to the distributor are also in the same spot and when the distributor is fully seated with the 0° balancer mark aligned with the timing pointer & #1 on the compression stroke, the pip sensor magnet should pretty much be inline with the adapter screw closest to the intake,if the housing is situated correctly. Then the rotor should be pointing slightly to the left of the pip sensor magnet. If the housing and rotor are situated like stated above, you can consider the distributor indexed correctly. Once thats finished, fire it up,pull the spout and set it to 10° btdc or 12-14° if you like.
