Are there any more options than those very few shown on "Build Your Own Mustang" for a Mustang GT with an automatic trans.????

Can you order bigger brakes, or "anything at all" related to performance ordering a manual trans."?[/U] I'm not very excited about spending money on interior lighting, chrome lug nuts or floor mats! Evidently Ford has decided Mustang buyers can't possibly be interested in performance unless they buy a 6 speed manual! Hello! Wake up! Certainly many options could come on an auto trans. Mustang as well, but it seems Ford doesn't want to be bothered with giving the Mustang buyer what the options they want! Unless I'm wrong, it seems like making it easier on Ford's production is far more important than giving the buyer whats wanted on a supposed sports car! It's a shame to be forced into buying the basic Mustang & then adding everything you want aftermarket to make it convenient for Ford's production. I would understand not offering some options with the four cylinder Mustangs, but with the 5.0L Mustang GT automatic??? As much as I like the 2015 Mustang, it might make me spend my money elsewhere!

Am I wrong & misunderstanding what is available in ordering a Mustang with an automatic? I hope so!

if they're not offering a build combination, it's because not enough people would buy it to make it worth doing.

I'm sure you are right, but if they would look around they would see that not everyone that is into performance cars wants a standard trans. Granted the majority do, but there are a lot of performance cars out there that don't have a standard trans. Putting many of the performance options would seen to be a big deal.
