Default GT Wheels with Brembos

Hey all, having a little trouble finding info on this. Is anyone using 17" or 18" wheels with the Performance pack Brembos?

I'm pretty sure that the 17" won't fit with the Brembos.

18s are as small as you can go.

Any idea what 18's will fit? Im looking for a winter wheel/tire setup and the options are slim.

Where ya at in jersey? if your near by I'd let you test fit the 18s off of my GT. But if they clear the break calipers any 18 inch wheel from American muscle will fit. The S197 (05-14) wheels mount on our car no problem.

No 18 inch stock mustang wheel.. that didnt come on a GT500, will fit over the brembos. Only GT500 takeoffs (not sure there are 18inch GT500 wheels..), or wheels that specifically say they will fit (usually only 19s and above), will fit over the brembos.

If you exclude the GT500 wheels... they only Ford wheels that will fit on a brembo car are wheels that were shipped with a brembo car. None of the other GT, v6, or 4cyl wheels, of any year, will fit a brembo car.

We tried fitting some 18" Enkies on my car. They wouldn't clear the Bimbos up front.
Too bad b/c there is a better selection of track tires in the 18" range.

I'm going to end up buying a second set of stock rims. My rear tires are nearly done already and I only got the car in mid-July. In Perilli's defense I tend to drive like a hooligan and I've done roughly 15 laps + ~5000 street miles. IT doesn't sound like much but a set of tires usually only last a single track day (~30-50 laps depending upon the driver's skill).
