Default Lowering my 15 GT

I'm looking to lower my car but i don't know if I should just get a coilover lowering kit or get the airbag kit. Money isn't a problem, just wasn't sure if the airbag lot was necessary or not.

What in the world do you want to do with it? Airbags IMO are out of the question, don't even know if they make them for the new Mustang. Do you have the performance pack or not? Do you want to autocross or just look cool? Springs are the cheapest way to go but I favor complete packages designed to work together like the Ford Racing track suspension.

The airbag kit is about 3800 lol. I'm just goin for the look really. I take an occasional drive through the mountains so it winding curves and stuff of that sort. I like the wide body look but I know it looks stupid with the car sitting too high. I thought that the 1 inch drop that the springs give would be enough. I'll end up getting the sway bars as well. Just something to make the drive even more fun and look better too.

I would go with coilovers if I were you. Depending on the car, swapping out the springs alone can cause you to feel every bump in the road. Been there, done that!

I installed the Ford Racing Street suspension which is the same used in the performance pack (got it from CJ Pony). It lowered my car (no fender gap) and gave me a perfect performance ride for the street and light track work. The kit is complete and comes with better rear track arms, sway bars, springs/shocks mounted ready to go.

We've run both the Pro Kit and Sportline Kit springs from Eibach and both have worked great for us. Even though the Sportlines have a deeper drop than the Pro Kit ones they still offer very good ride quality.

Let us know if there's anything we can help you with.

Thanks, Jared
