MGW shifter fixed mine IMMEDIATELY!!

It now shifts very smoothly and can shift fast if I want to.....NO LOCKOUTS!!

Call MGW and speak with George!!

Does the 2017 GT have the same MT82 transmission? I definitely want a manual and now have doubts about the Mustang GT. I'm deciding between the Mustang GT and Camaro SS and was leaning towards the Ford. YouTube reviews don't show any problems rowing through the gears - FWIW.

I'm about to do new clutch, slave cylinder, Line, and shifter. this should clear up the issues for me.

Anyone with plans to mod and race should save money and instead of patching the MT82 just do a TR6060 swap and not worry about the transmission ever again. Sell your new untouched MT82 and recoup money.

If your under warranty you need to verify the issue to the dealer,if intermitent then video it on your phone and mail it to your advisor,if they refuse to deal with it then contact the factory customer support and start whining(for reals).I guarantee youll get results.I worked for BMW dealers for 25 years and thats how those customers get their asses kissed.

Coming in a bit late on this thread. The manual for 2018 has been refined. No problems with mine so far.

I’m having the same problem with 5th gear. The first time I took it to the dealership they couldn’t replicate, so I took it for a drive and recorded the event with my cell phone. I went back to the dealership and played the video. They have now had the vehicle two days shy of 7 weeks. Today, i got an e-mail from my service rep (below), looks like the synchros were bad.
