Default Just got a GT

Just got home with a 2015 GT. I plan to do some mods and don't know anything about the 5.0 and what gains to expect. I had a modded C6 with a LS2 so this 5.0 is all new to me.

Guess i would do a dynotune for starters. What kind of gains would a dynotune give?

Does the car still have factory warranty left?

Don't want to void the warranty.

Get yourself a Lund 93 tune or a flex fuel tune if you have e85 near you. Not much gains from exhaust unless you do longtubes or Mak cat delete pipes. Intake gains will be small. After that you're looking at either an intake manifold swap (gt350 is the most popular now), nitrous or forced induction.

Just a extra 30 to 40hp is plenty. Just don't know of any good 5.0 tuners in the Tampa FL area within 30 miles of Tampa. Not planning to drive hours for a dyno tune.

I would get in trouble with F/I. Sure did love the sound on my 99 and 03 Lightnings. F/I would cost me around $9k.

You just learn throttle skills and respect what I like about forced induction is now I barely put my foot in it and it wakes up and goes

Yes, but you'll likely get most of it back when you sell it down the road! I got it all back on my '08 GT!

I just don't have any space to get and use that kind of power. Solid red lights in my area.
