Default Power surge on 2016 Procharged gr

Have a dealer installed stage II P1sc Procharger.

Has power surges at 50% throttle in 2nd and 3rd gears.

Really annoying. I either need to shift before or WOT.

Dealer tune.

Any suggestions?

DEALER TUNE

I capitalized your problem. Where in Florida are you? Can you make it to west palm beach? If so then go to Ken B. Jonnes at Palm Beach Dyno. He will set you up, one of the best if not the best coyote tuner.

Tampa.....will it void factory warranty? Dealer has warranty on supercharger since installed there.

Voiding the warranty is not a black and white issue, they have to prove whatever is broken was caused by the tune. They can't void your entire warranty due to a tune. But yes they can say if something in the engine breaks it's due to the tune. So you have to pro/con it. Live with a ****ty tune or do something about it. If it's truly covered then take it in and tell them exactly what you're experiencing, they SHOULD get you a revised tune from whatever crappy local tuner they're using.

I hear you. Dealer advised it is "normal" and is to prevent boost being dumped in at low rpm. Procharger however said its not normal.

Procharger is 100% correct. Car should drive like stock out of boost. I take it you have shown them the statement from Procharger? Try to get them to allow you to use another tuner and honor your warranty. Get it written.

You will likely have to decide to A) keep warranty and live with it or B) go to PBD and get a solid safe tune and enjoy the car. If you're not a maniac driving the engine will last. RPMs kill the oil pump gears. Keep it to 7000rpm/ low 600whp and you'll be fine.

Chances are they will scream abuse if something happens to that motor, don't trust dealers.

He car is at 588whp now....barely drive it as is and I'm not hard on it.

I'm going to to the dealer in Wed to catalog and send to Procharger to review and hopefully get a resolve until the warranty explores, then I'll take it elsewhere.

Go back to dealer and tell them. They should pay for outside tuning. They hire guys all the time to do it.

If they don't do it then I would get it tuned by someone on the street and dyno.
