Not interested in hearing engine "noise" in my interior. I can hear the exhaust, and that's plenty. Have any of you deleted or disconnected the tubing off the intake tube that connects to the firewall? if so, what did you use to plug the tube at the intake tube? Been searching for a 1" cap with no luck.

Took mine out. Looks much better without. American Muscle sells the part you will need. Its called the Blowfish Sound Tube Delete Kit.

I bought the JLT CAI and it came with the plugs to delete the sound tube

I found a youtube video about this and the guy got the right size replacement chair leg rubber cover at lowes for next to nothing.

Got my "Blowfish" Kit from American Muscle. So glad I bought it. Eliminating the "engine noise" from the firewall is the best.
