Default Trouble with Power Pack 2 hesitation

I just picked up a new 2017 GT last week and also had the Power Pack 2 installed the same week. Since then I've noticed that when shifting under hard acceleration, the engine stumbles when I go back to full throttle after the shift. This is ONLY on full throttle type acceleration, not casual around town or half-throttle acceleration.

I've checked to see if it's the traction/ESA, wheel hop, or clutch hop, it's definitely the engine stumbling.

Anyone dealing with this like me? What was your solution?

I will call Ford Performance tomorrow and probably go back to the dealer, but I'm not sure how much they'll know. (BTW, if anyone has a really savvy Ford tech in Eastern TN let me know!)

Thoughts?

Did you get the latest tune? The first one had some issues IIRC.

I don't know. The dealership installed it. They just did it on Wednesday... Are all the tunes available online or just the latest?

Not sure but you should know what version you have.

I'm planning to reinstall it today. I called Ford Performance and they encouraged me to do it myself now that it's under warranty (since I had it originally installed by a dealer). Too bad it's raining like mad, I can't test it out...

Sounds like the no lift shift feature. You should be above 5000 rpm when changing grears.

I have the power pack 2 with automatic, so hopeful someone with a manual can describe how to shift.

I'm having the exact same problem with mine. I purchased the power pack to about 3 months ago and was told by the dealer that it was probably the traction control. I know this wasn't the case because the traction control was turned off and it hesitates upon shifting to the next gear. They later told me that it was probably because I was using the wrong octane fuel. This also wasn't the case because I always use premium. So then I called Ford performance and was told that the system needed to learn the new calibration and would adjust after a few hundred miles. Well that was about 900 miles ago and I still have the hesitation. I'd later decided to try the no lift shift and lo and behold no hesitation whatsoever! I am now starting to think that it is supposed to hesitate when not utilizing the no lift shift. I'm no rocket surgeon but I I think it would have been extremely helpful for Ford or the dealership to at least have provided some instructions or on what to expect when purchasing this product and having it installed. Have you tried utilizing the no lift shift on yours and still got hesitation? I'd like to hear from other power pack 2 owners who have manual transmission to see if they also are experiencing the same thing.
