Default Over heated Diff..

I have a 2016 GT and on a hot (100)day on track I get a message that the
rear axle is overheated. I don't know what to do. I put racing oil in
the diff. Did not help.

Didn't know these new cars have a sensor in the diff/axle to measure temperature. Pretty neat.

If this only happens on a hot, 100 degree day at the track then I'm guessing nothing is wrong. Does this happen at all on the street even on a hot day?

I'm guessing you don't have a track package with a diff oil cooler. No telling how many diffs were overheated in the old days without sensors but now days with all the sensors for the engine, trans, and diff, it doesn't take much to put a new car into limp mode or create a warning light.
