Loud "click" when shifting
Hey again, all!
I'll get right to the point. After the car is warm, and under slightly to moderately agressive acceleration, upon shifting, when reapplying the throttle, there is a quite audible "click" or "TCH!!!". It happens when i get back on the gas. The sound is almost akin to when someone has an intake and abruptly opens the throttle to rev the engine, that initial little gasp the engine makes. However, it sounds much more positive than that, and i can't replicate it with just an abrupt opening of the throttle.
Has anyone else had issues with this? What might it be? Oh, its a 2015 GT, 6sp, non perf-pack. Exhaust only, no other engine mods. Intake and throttle body assembly all stock. Under warranty.
Thanks,
-J

I have that too on a MY17. Doesn't seem jerky or anything, just the clicking. I found something in the brochure that could explain it.
Fuel savings come standard. When idling, the transmission disconnects from the engine, even if you’re in gear, saving you fuel.
