2018 GT Intake Hose Missing - HELP?
Hi - I finally traded in my 2007 v6 which I loved since I bought it new. I found a used Shadow Black 2018 GT base model with 5,000 miles and i couldn't help but trade in the old for the new. The car is AWESOME!!! Already got bit with the mod bug and threw on 20 inch MMD 551c matte black wheels, Strut tower brace, H pipe and some interior mods. More to come of course and I've added pix of the car.
Here's my issue. While installing the strut brace I noticed a hose missing from the stock intake. It's the hose on the driver side (not the sound tube hose) and it appears to connect to the manifold from the intake. I know on the passenger side there is a similar hose which I plan on replacing with an oil catch can. So my question is, what is that driver side hose called? Any idea where I can get one other than the dealer? So right now I have 2 openings with no hose, 1 opening on intake and the other on the manifold (I'll upload picture later, don't have one right now). Side note, I bought the car from an infinity dealer, not a ford dealer, and it was sold as is with the factory warranty.
Appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!

So, you're saying you have two nozzles with no hoses attached to them?
That means your pulling in unfiltered air, AND venting crank case to atmosphere.
The car would also be running like crap, because that air going into the intake without
hoses is umetered, since it's after the MAF sensor.
There are four hoses on the intake tube, which ones are you missing?
You should take it right back to that dealer and show them the missing hoses so
they can put them back on, or order them for it. Have no idea why they would be
missing in the first place, the engine would run so bad without them connected.

Thank you 08'MustangDude for the reply. It doesn't make sense to me because the car is running great. I bought it used from an infinity dealer ship and they sold 'AS IS' so I can't take it to them. I took your pic and outlined the hose that is missing.

Two questions,
Is your car manual or automatic?
Are there actually open ports at those two places?
It used to be that automatics had an extra hose for the brake booster and the manual was missing the hose. But if the ports were there they were blocked off.

If they were OPEN you'd be pulling air into the intake behind the MAF, and it would
not idle right. The hose you outlined is the driver side PCV. The booster
hose is the thicker one before the PCV hose. There should be a hose there,
but I just don't see how the engine idles smooth with it missing.
It's also different in the previous model (platform):
This one only has two hose connections, but that PCV is still there.
Auto or Manual, the PCV system is the same.
The only thing I could GUESS is, there was a different intake on it, and they went back
to stock and either broke or lost the PCV hose. They're a plastic preformed tube,
not a rubber hose. You can buy the piece...
