Ford is insisting this is a regular sound from the car, my dealership disagrees but apparently people through Ford corporate know best. Any thoughts on what this might actually be?

That's that Coyote motor... There is supposed to be an additive from FORD that
stops that noise. I won't buy one till they tell us WHY, or they put a stop to it.
I could have bought a newer Mustang, but the Coyote makes that noise right
after you change the oil for the first time. I don't like it, nor trust it, and telling
us it's normal isn't good enough...

I don't have sound in the office but you can check this out.
Keep in mind, with Direct inject motors, they have a High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) that is going to be noisy as hell. That is normally for ALL cars that a direct inject motor. You will have to get under the hood and pinpoint the source. If it's coming from the front of the motor then it's timing related. If it's the pump, it is what it is.
