How to lock your keys/keyfob in your 15-19 Mustang on Purpose
Hiya
Through the years I have been so used to leaving my key-fob locked in my Explorer and Fusion. With the addition of the 19 GT I thought I would have to start carrying around a key-fob again. WRONG! I love it!
For those of you who like to use the same technique, it is easily explained. Since the Mustang does not have a cool, out of sight way to have a factory installed keypad due to the fact the mustang door is frame-less. Yeah you could probably have one of those unsightly dealer installed/battery operated deals by your door handle. No thanks! Instead use the FORD PASS APP! I thought for sure when I threw the key-fob in the car, closed the door and activated the ford pass to lock my doors that it wouldnt work and instead, give me a double horn blast with no locked doors. WRONG! It worked! Of course it will unlock the doors when commanded.
Has anyone else used this method and if so, any issues? Will the key-fob battery die sooner like the Mercedes fobs do when left in the car?
This is my first week with the new wheels. I have owned an 05 Roush Sport and an 07 Roush Stage 2 since purchasing this ride. I havnt been on this forum in a coons age. Hello All!
