Hey guys, just got my copy of the 5.0 and super Fords, they have an awesome write up on the new 5.0 TIVCT Motor! It is a very in depth article, and sheeww it put my concerns to rest once I found out that the motor has been built with forced induction in mind! So don't believe what you hear from the rumor mills the 5.0 is plenty capable of supercharging and Ford even considered ecoboost?? LOL leave the supercharging to us Mustang guys, thanks anyway ford! Anyway stop by your newstand or your mail box im sure you guys will enjoy this as it is a good read!

Yea man its a great read, but you will also find as I read more into it since it is such a long article. They put this engine together in only 2 years and rushed it to market Quote un Quote!

Well they did mention that the rods won't be able to withstand forced induction lol, the rest of the motor was built up stronger though it seems.
Another thing i found interesting was it makes the advertised HP/TQ numbers on 91 octane. On 87 they say it makes 402hp and 377lb/ft.
