2010 REAR END STUFF
LET'S LET THIS REST NOW...AND MOVE ON TO ALL THE FINER POINTS OF THE GT COUPE. I CAN'T COUNT ALL THE TIMES I'VE BEEN TO WAL-MART AND SOME DUDE GIVES ME THE THUMBS UP...AND WOMEN JUST STOP THERE CARTS AND SAY "WOW"...."NICE". AS A FINAL WE ARE THE ONLY CAR ON THE ROAD WITH SEQUENTIAL'S AND A DAMN NICE BUTT. SO JUST GET USED TO IT AND TAKE THE COMPLIMENTS...SO VRoooooM TO YOU...

the day we brought our 06 home (12-17-05) I thought the same thing about our 69 fastback
my favorite two body styles:
things I dont really love about the 06:
the backup lights- half tempted to toss them in the CNC, mill out the clear part, and get a junkyard set to cut amatching red reflector from- then add 69-ish backups to the bumper...
the rear glass- straight top/curved bottom= I just havent seen the perfect louvers for it yet- due to the shape all 6 slats need to be different shapes...and I like the 69 hinge type mounting...maybe someday. the PJSaleen slats are not bad, but just not quite there yet...and pricey.
the flat hood- tore it up last year, got a fang hood/shaker with the 69-like spear down the center
the quarter windows- almost ha them welded over to add 69 ornaments over, but glad I waited- put the Silverhorse louvers in, and really like the look(plus can still see out fine). More 67ish, but I still like

Well, what can you say when even Shelby doesn't like the rear end. He changed it on his newest version.

Having owned both an '05 and now the '10, I prefer the look of the newer model. That said, I wasn't big on the large white backup area, so I had mine tinted. Pics in my gallery.
Just my .0001 after taxes.

Sam, post some more pics of that beauty from the front. That is definitely one of the best looking 10's I've seen. The stripes are perfect.
