After looking at photos and reading Fords listed specs:
2010 - 2011 GT Airboxes appear to be identical.
2010 - 2011 GT both have 86mm MAF Tubes
What does this mean? The 2005 Air Box Flowed 550 cfm and the 2010 / 2011 Flows 800 cfm. The 2011 GT will be just as strangled in stock condition (Flow per hp) as the 2005-2009 cars. I see an easy 5+% Power Gain (20 hp +) Of course we will have to have tuning available first.
The more I hear about this engine/car, the more I wonder why anyone would pay $15K more for a GT500. I guess if you've got the money, it doesn't matter.

With a 2011 GT and a few bolt-ons you have 400 rwhp.
With a 2011 GT500 and a few bolt-ons you have 600 rwhp.
Not to mention the new 140 lb Lighter Aluminum Block and available Dry Sump Oiling in the 2011 GT500.
