Steeda 5.0 & 3.7 V6 Cold Air Intake Systems
Since I've been getting several PM's on this, I figured I would just put a post up.
We wanted to let everyone know we are diligently working on intakes for both the 5.0L and the new 3.7L 2011 models.
Those who went to the NMRA event at Bradenton in March and stopped by our booth got to see a bit of a teaser of what we were up to, but we havent talked about this much on the public forums. So here is a bit of a teaser for the 5.0....

Yes, MMR and one other company (can't think of it right this second) both just released their CAI's for the 2011 5.0 in the past 2 weeks.
MMR was first to hit the streets.
Both companies seem to have gotten 15+ rwhp from them with no tune needed or about 5-8 hp more with a tune for the additional air.
Both sell them for $375-395

Yeah get the MMR if you like WORSE performance. Sure the peak gains are ok, but that only matters if you race dynos.

I don't see why those fuktards are still in business.

Our 2011 5.0 intake for manual transmission is officially released and shipping.
More info here: https://mustangforums.com/forum/stee...d-air-kit.html
Automatics transmission cars will take a different inlet tube which will take another 2 to 3 weeks to release.
Also here is a early development teaser of the 2011 3.7L intake....

Might be missing something but looking at the gains from Steeda with a tune were not much more then stock given several dynos have posted stock at 380 wwhp. I know different dynos give many different results but unless I am missing something, it did not seem that it was a significant increase over stock..Would like to see the CAI and tune resuls from any members who go that route..
