A DIY post for an oil change? How did you ever manage to get your car unlocked without a DIY?

Sorry, but oil changes are just too easy. Maybe a few specifics from model to model (I've done my own oil changes on over 15 different cars for over 30 years) but not enough to be unable to figure it out.

I must somewhat agree. There's only one large bolt sticking out of the oil pan, and that's usually the drain bolt. The filter's usually pretty obvious, and the oil fill cap is very obvious. As long as you can find those three items, and are not mentally challenged, you should be able to do an oil change just fine.

I have always liked this site, but I think some of the reason for the lack of traffic is the layout of the site.
In the main forums index under the Ford Mustang Tech section there is only one folder showing ALL threads from 2005-2011.
If you have a 5.0, you really aren't concerned about the large quantity of threads concerning the 4.6's.

I think if a new section was created for the 2011 5.0 cars that would help.
I know this is why I search other sites first....easier to get where I want to go.
Just my .02

^ +1, look at themustangsource. they have thier own section for 2010+. Then its in subdivisions of 2010 and 2011 so its just easier to find info on the 2011 5.0. We really do need to have a 2010+ section. Make it 2005-2009 S197 then make one on top of that 2010+ S197

Just getting people talking.... see this thread is now three pages long. a sub forum would be great. changed oil yesterday, no problems though the ford motorcraft filter was shorter, thought they gave me the wrong one for a second.
