however, the brembo package is: not just brakes, rims, and tires. this package also has suspension upgrades and tweaks...
this is alot more than just brakes and rims.

in fact i may end up with a stick just to get this brembo package.

As a retired Parts/Service Director my guess is it would take $2500 to duplicate the Brembo pkg, and that would only be tires/wheels and brakes. This pkg includes suspension and steering upgrades. I think I'll just buy the manual.

as posted in variuos threads and forums - many wish we can just get the option with the A6.

Some guess this option may be available for 2012.

Default Send them an email

I think that more important than whether anyone from Ford will read this is, will they listen or care?
You can send them an email about this. They might not care but, at least you can get them to read it.

Good luck!

The car performs quite well without the package, if you really want to push it a lot further with suspension and brake upgrades then it makes sense to get a manual.

As for the thread title, Im sure there are plenty of people who own mustangs who work at ford, and chances are some of them read this forum. The question of do they care? probably not.

After Ford responded to my inquiry and I realized I had no choice, I bought the manual. Pick it up today. Will post a pic and options later.

Too bad that ford has given some of us such a difficult choice on a great car.
If there is a good chance they will offer the brembos with an A6 in 2012 - it could be a good idea for those on the fence to wait.

But it would really suck if one waited: and in 2012 there was no new brembo option AND the gt price went up !
My 2 cents

congrats on the purchase btw.

Default I prefer the M6 but........

Personally, I think to get the best experience out of the 2011 Mustang GT, you have to go with the M6 but, if you really wanted the A6, I think you should've gotten the A6. Especially since Ford upgraded the brakes for 2011 and you can buy the Brembo brake kit separately and install it yourself for $1395 or pay to have it installed. It won't include the suspension mods but, it does include stainless braided brakelines, front and back.
