$5,000 AFTERMARKET warranty AND Ford warranty dropped...
Due to the back tires losing 2/32th tread evenly. I have never spun the tires nor done donuts. A few hard launches and nothing more... What gives?
Can someone link me to info on dropping a warranty due to some tire wear? That is the only issue btw. Nothing else.
I cant find any info online

Huh? A- What aftermarket warranty cost 5000 dollars? And no-- I have NEVER heard of that ever happening. Sounds like you need to bring up the "magnuson moss act of 1975"
Details are needed.

No details... thats literally it. The car has been abused because the rear tires have lost tread.

1) If you paid $5k for a warranty you need your head examined and your man-card taken away.
2) If you didn't rip someones throat out at the dealership you should never have HAD a man-card.

Doesn't that basically mean you paid 5k for 2 years of coverage since everything is covered for 3 years anyway? Or is it 5 years on top of the 3 years?

I've got some extremely rare snake oil for sale.. are you interested?
Ok seriously.. If they did "void" the warranty, which they can't legally do that.. You could simply request that money back (if you financed it in with the car loan, then they will apply a prorated amount back to the lein holder.
But again. It is 100% illegal to Void an entire warranty for that. I would argue that they can't void anything based off of tirewear.
If you are saying that your radio is covered under the warranty and your wipers, and leather seats.. Then how would smoking the tires (what they are charging you with)--- have anything to do with the radio going out, or the wipers not working.. It is the Magnuson Moss Act... look it up...

I will be severely disappointed in you if you roll over on this and don't stick it to this dealership. They deserve negative press simply for trying to pull this bs. I'd make them aware of this post, and invite them to share their side of the story.
